01 / The challenge

Finding a pet-friendly stay is only the first step. Pet parents also need to understand which amenities are available, what additional charges apply, and whether the surroundings suit their pet’s needs.

The design challenge was to bring this information into the booking journey without overwhelming users—and keep essential guidance accessible after booking, especially on arrival.

02 / The outcome

PawTrip brings stay discovery, pet amenities, trip costs and arrival guidance into one connected mobile experience.

The final concept helps pet parents evaluate a stay beyond its “pet-friendly” label, see a detailed cost breakdown before booking, and access essentials such as parking, pet relief areas and nearby veterinary support on arrival.

As a concept project, its impact has not yet been validated through usability testing or live usage. The next step would be to test whether users can confidently assess a stay, understand the total cost and find arrival information when needed.
